英語メーリングリストで英訳版ローダンの再開についての議論が
ここの所沸騰していますが、これに関するあるカナダ人ファンの依頼を転送しま
す。

At this point I want to see, how many people in Canada, USA and
worldwide,
would be interested to see an English version released, either on CD or
in
print. I do not want to make promises, but the collected data, would
give me
an idea, how to proceed and what kind of avenues, we can take together,
in
order to get at least something into our hands. I certainly do not want
to
waste your time. This is not a business proposal, especially when we are
only getting 500 people together.(or less) It becomes important though,
if
we want to establish a powerful Perry Rhodan Fan Club.

以下、解説。
アメリカではローダンの翻訳は20年間止まっていました。（丁度、ポスビ
サイクルの終了の4話前です。）5年ほど前に、1800話から再開という試み
がありましたが、僅か数冊で休刊になっています。経済不況からやはり
休刊状態であったブラジルで、ファンベースのオンデマンド印刷という
形態で出版が再開した例にならって、アメリカでも同様の試みをしよう
という話がでたのもある意味自然なことです。
大群サイクル以前が英訳されて出ても日本のファンにはあまり面白く
無いでしょうが、これが1000話以降（例えば2000話）からスタートというので
あれば一寸興味深いところです。
